David Downton WOW

I said I was going to talk about David Downton and first of all let me just say I am in love with his work, its very bold and it is easy to point out which are his works. Recently I have started my A2 art courswork and I want to revolve it around fashion and I have discovered David Downton and immediately adored all his pieces. I decided to try and imitate his work, then afterwards from the technique he used, I tried doing my own working off images.

Here are a few pieces I studied of his. (This is my attempt)




And here are my versions. LOL They obviously aren't as good as his but he has really inspired and made a difference on my water colour painting techniques.
